2025 IMPACT REPORT

The Art of Conservation

This year, we explored new ways to experience the land—where art and conservation meet, and where protected places become sources of reflection, expression, and wonder. At our first Art for Conservation event, we invited artists and supporters alike to see the land, water, and wildlife we work to protect not only as spaces to preserve, but as living stories to be felt and shared.

We are continually moved by a community that nurtures both the land and the spirit it inspires. Your dedication makes it possible to protect thousands of acres across Texas while deepening the ways we connect to them. Together, we are shaping a future where conservation and creativity grow side by side—and we’re honored to reflect on all we accomplished together in 2025.

Connecting Community with Nature

TLC staff is so grateful for the passion and knowledge you bring to this community—from exploring protected land with a curious young explorer, to friendly competition over a beer, to building bridges and harvesting native grasses. We feel incredibly lucky to share these moments with all of you. Thank you for continuing to be such an inspiring force for good.

YOU gave your time

Thank you to the 276 volunteers who donated their time (1,619 hours!) and energy at TLC-owned preserves across the state. We really can’t thank you enough.

YOU built community

We are so grateful for the 18 businesses who donated dollars or items like tacos for workdays or prizes for Texas Nature Trivia—you see the direct link between open spaces and your bottom line.

YOU made a commitment

517 of you joined as TLC members with a gift of $40 or more this year. You make all of this work possible, and we look forward to protecting even more land with you.
