Join TLC staff and community partners for a weekend of connection, conservation, and casting on the Brazos River!
This fly-fishing campout takes place at Little L Ranch, a property on the Brazos River permanently protected by Texas Land Conservancy. Rarely open to the public, it offers a unique chance to experience the beauty and significance of protected land.
Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, new or experienced anglers, and conservation-minded individuals who want to deepen their relationship with local waterways through the art and ethics of fly-fishing. A complete intro is available for those new to the sport, and the full weekend offers hands-on learning, camaraderie, and a renewed appreciation for the rivers that shape our landscapes and communities. Fishing equipment loaner kits available.
What to expect:

Guided fishing sessions on the Brazos River
Beginner workshops available for those new to fly-fishing
After the event, attendees get a FREE Poncho Outdoors Performance shirt
Included with your reservation:
Camping spot for the weekend
Friday – dinner
Saturday – breakfast, lunch, dinner, and campfire with s’mores
Sunday – breakfast
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to the event, tents/bedding, etc. Restroom and shower facilities are available on the property.
